Farm. One grows rare produce for the top chefs in New York City, in indoor Manhattan-based vertical farms using hydroponics and the latest LED lighting. Launched in 2016, Farm. One grows pesticide-free rare herbs, edible flowers and microgreens year-round, delivering by bike and subway. Customers include Atera, 701 West, Butter, Rezdora, Eataly, and other restaurants with a combined total of over 20 Michelin stars.
Farm. One has been featured by the New York Times, The New Yorker, Reuters, Cool Hunting and other publications.
Working at Farm. One is a unique experience for people looking to start a career in agriculture or working with restaurants. Days start with harvests, which are packed and delivered to our customers. This is followed by planting, transplanting and other plant care activities. In the evenings, the farm is used for tours and classes.
